3-7 Sending Marketing E–mail

The Postal Service’s marketing e–mail policy applies when the Postal Service, or one of its suppliers, sends an e–mail message to a customer or prospective customer that markets a different product or service than the customer may already receive from the Postal Service. Managers or employees intending to send a marketing e–mail must follow the procedures for notice and choice in Exhibit 3-2.2 and Exhibit 3-2.3.
