LITTLE ROCK, AR  —The U.S. Postal Service has announced select Post Offices will open for retail business Sunday, December 20.

Arkansas District Manager, David Camp, said customers should deposit their mail in the blue mail boxes as soon as possible this holiday season.

“We are opening select Post Offices on Sunday, December 20 to assist our customers with their mailing needs,” Camp said. “Getting your mail to us as soon as possible will help us process and deliver your holiday mail on time.”

The following Post Offices will operate 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2015, to help customers beat the expected Monday mailing rush:

Little Rock Westside Station, 11415 Huron, Little Rock, AR 72211
Little Rock Chenal Station, 815 Technology Dr., Little Rock, AR 72223
North Little Rock Park Hill Station, 4601 JFK Blvd, N Little Rock, AR 72116
Conway Post Office, 1060 Hogan Ln., Conway, AR 72034
Benton Post Office, 1425 Military Rd, Benton, AR 72015

In observance of the holidays, Post Offices will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Only Priority Mail Express will be delivered on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day in most areas. All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

For expected delivery of holiday mail and packages by Christmas, the Postal Service recommends keeping the following domestic mailing and shipping deadlines in mind:

  • Dec. 15  – Standard Post
  • Dec. 19 –  First Class (cards and letters)
  • Dec. 21 –  Priority Mail
  • Dec. 23 –  Priority Mail Express
