LITTLE ROCK, AR — Post Offices in the U.S. Postal Service’s Arkansas District normally opened on Saturdays will maintain regular retail hours on Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, and New Year’s Eve. Customers will receive regular mail delivery on these days.

Business Mail Entry Units will maintain regular hours both Friday Dec. 23 and Dec. 30, for commercial customers.

Because Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Sunday this year, Post Offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2, on the observed federal holidays. Only Priority Mail Express will be delivered on the actual holidays as well as the observed holidays. All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Dec. 27 and Jan. 3.

The USPS Arkansas District includes all Postal Service operations for the State of Arkansas.

Additional Postal Service holiday information can be found at usps.com/holidaynews.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
