SAN FRANCISCO, CA — With more and more tax filers preparing and filing income tax returns online, all Post Offices in the Bay-Valley and San Francisco postal districts will maintain regular retail hours. As in past tax seasons, customers can count on timely tax return processing and special services, including Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, First-Class Mail, Certificate of Mailing, Certified Mail, and Return Receipt.
Post Offices with the latest regular retail hours are at the following locations:
Oakland Main Post office Retail Hours 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM San Francisco Processing & Retail Hours 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM |
San Jose Main Post Office Retail Hours 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM Airport Mail Center Retail Hours 11 AM to 10 PM |
- Customers are reminded that the tax day mailing deadline is Monday, April 18.
- The Postal Service advises customers to plan ahead and mail early. If mailing on the April 18 tax deadline, customers should check the latest collection times posted on collection boxes.
- Ensure proper postage is affixed on all tax returns.
