Surge in Parcels

What:  

Customers are expected to bring in 611 million pieces of mail to Post Offices nationwide on Monday, December 19 – the U.S. Postal Service’s Busiest Mailing Day during the 2016 holiday season.  An enormous parcel spike is expected at the Margaret L. Sellers Mail Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC).

The Margaret L. Sellers P&DC, located at 11251 Rancho Carmel Drive, San Diego, CA 92128, has an automated package processing system (APPS) to help handle an expected 18 percent increase in packages on the peak mailing day this year compared to last.

Monday, December 19
5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
