USPS to hold public meeting on deliberation to relocate retail service from Richmond Main Post Office

RICHMOND, CA — The U.S. Postal Service will hold a public meeting on its consideration to relocate the retail services currently provided at the Richmond Main Post Office on 1025 Neven Ave., Richmond, CA 94801 to the Richmond McVittie Detached Delivery Unit (DDU) at 2100 Chanslor Ave., Richmond, CA 94804. The Public Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 6:00pm, at the Richmond City Council Chambers, 440 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA 94804.
 
The Postal Service invites the public to learn more about the proposal from postal officials who will be on hand to discuss all future plans.

Customer input on this proposed relocation is welcome. For 30 days after the public meeting, anyone may submit written comments to the address below for the Postal Service’s consideration prior to its final decision.
