LOS ANGELES, CA — In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, Postal Service facilities will be closed for retail transactions. There will be no residential or business deliveries.

Although there will be no regular mail service, Express Mail is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered on May 29. Normal delivery and collection schedules will resume Tuesday, May 30.

Memorial Day holds special significance for USPS, one of the nation’s largest employers of military veterans.  Approximately 113,000 employees have served in the military.

The Los Angeles District serves ZIP codes 900-905, 907-908.
The Santa Ana District serves ZIP codes 906, 926-928, 917-918.

Please note:

  • Stamps are available at most grocery, pharmacy, and convenient stores.
  • For 24/7 access to most postal products and services, go to www.usps.com, where you can look up a ZIP Code, track a package, buy stamps, hold mail, print postage online, submit a change of address, schedule a package pickup and find USPS locations including self-service kiosks.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
