EAGLE - The public is invited to the official installation and swearing-in ceremony for new Eagle Postmaster Samuel Wittner on Wednesday, July 19th at 1 p.m.

The ceremony will be held at the Eagle Post Office, located at 264 Chambers Ave., Eagle CO, 81631.

Wittner will be officially sworn in as postmaster by Nicholas Morgan, Manager Postal Operations for the Western Slope.  Also part of the ceremony will be  Jackie Laman, vocalist, Sid Spain, pastor of Eagle Methodist Church, Michael Kervin, Postmaster of Gypsum and the VFW Post 10721 Color Guard.

Attendees will include various local elected and civic leaders.

Wittner comes to Eagle from Boulder, CO, where he previously served as a letter carrier and served as the interim Postmaster of Eagle.

The public is invited and refreshments will be served.
