Postal Service Confirms Delivery of 61,000 Adams County Colorado General Election Ballots

DENVER — The Postal Service has confirmed the remaining 61,000 ballots mailed on Tuesday, October 22, were successfully delivered to Adams County, CO. The delivery occurred on Wednesday, Oct 23 to the following ZIP Codes:

On Monday, Oct. 15, four contracted delivery trucks attempted to deliver Adams Co. ballots to our facility. However, one truck had insufficient documentation for USPS to accept the shipment. The impacted Adams Co. ballots were not reintroduced back to the USPS facility until Tuesday, Oct. 23.

A request for an investigation will be submitted to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Office of Inspector General

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
