Postal Service Extends Mail Pick Up Hours For Tybee Island, GA, Customers

JACKSONVILLE FL — Postal Service officials announced today that the mobile retail van located at the Tybee Island Post Office, 102 S. Campbell Ave., Tybee Island GA 31328 will extend hours for mail pick up, effective tomorrow.  Customers may pick up mail Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The mobile retail van opened after Hurricane Matthew caused the temporary closure of the Tybee Island Post Office.  In addition to providing mail pick up service, the mobile retail van offers retail services Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Postal Service is working on repairs in order to reopen the Tybee Island Post Office as soon as possible.
