U.S. Postal Service Schedules Public Meeting

On Potential Relocation of Retail Services at Safety Harbor Post Office

TAMPA FL — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail services from the Safety Harbor, FL, Main Post Office located at 303 Main Street, Safety Harbor, FL 34695-9998. If the move is approved, there would be no change to mail delivery. 

Postal officials invite the public to learn more about this project at a public meeting scheduled on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 4:30 p.m., in the lobby of the Safety Harbor Main Post Office. Representatives from the Postal Service’s Facilities Department will be available to share information and to answer questions at the meeting.

Additionally, for 30 days after the public meeting, written comments may be submitted to the address below for the Postal Service’s consideration prior to its final decision:

A public notice, along with a copy of the Postal Service’s letter to The Honorable Andy Steingold, Mayor of Safety Harbor, is currently posted at the Safety Harbor Main Post Office.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
