U.S. Postal Service Continues to Emphasize Safety and Restore Service Daily after Hurricane Irma

Fort Lauderdale, FL — As an integral part of the communities we serve, the Postal Service is continuing post-hurricane recovery efforts every day, so we can reconnect our customers and businesses with their mail.  The U.S. Postal Service’s priority continues to be the safety and well-being of its employees and customers, and service is being restored as quickly as possible.

With few exceptions, our 180 postal facilities from Fort Pierce to the Florida Keys are open for business, and we are delivering to homes and businesses, wherever it is safe and accessible to do so. We are committed to serving our customers in South Florida. We remind our customers to visit About.usps.com/news/service-alerts for the latest service information.

All offices in the South Florida District have resumed normal operations with the exception of facilities listed below.

The following office is offering limited delivery and retail services:

  • North Miami Beach Branch, 16400 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami Beach, FL 33160-9998

The following office is offering delivery services and limited retail services:

  • Miami, Norland Branch, 18640 NW 2 Ave, Miami, FL 33169-9998

The following offices will be providing limited retail services, but no delivery services at this time:

  • Key West Post Office, 400 Whitehead St, Key West, FL 33040-9998
  • Marathon, Marathon Shores Branch, 11400 Overseas Hwy, Ste120, Marathon, FL 33050-9997

The following offices will be providing retail services via mobile retail unit staged on-site at the facility, but there are no delivery services at this time:

  • Big Pine Key Post Office, 29959 Overseas Hwy, Big Pine Key,  FL 33043-9998
  • Coral Springs, Coral Reef Postal Store, 6295 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33067-9998
  • Key Colony Beach Branch, 600 W Ocean Dr, Key Colony Beach, FL 33051-9800
  • Long Key Post Office, 68340 Overseas Hwy, Long Key, FL 33001-9998
  • Marathon Post Office, 5171 Overseas Hwy, Marathon, FL 33050-9998
  • Summerland Key Post Office, 24700 Overseas Hwy, Summerland Key, FL 33042-9998
