Atlanta Post Offices to Host Passport Fairs

To help travelers prepare for their international trips, several select Atlanta District Post Offices will host passport fairs Saturday, February 24, 2018. Listed below are all participating offices:

  • Acworth Main Post Office, 4915 N. Main St., 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Fayetteville Post Office, 250 Georgia Ave. E., noon to 3 p.m.
  • Griffin Post Office, 101 N. 8th St., noon to 3 p.m.
  • Kennesaw Post Office, 2004 Duncan Dr. NW, noon to 3 p.m.
  • LaGrange Post Office, 950 Lafayette Pkwy., noon to 3 p.m.
  • Lithia Springs Post Office, 2727 Skyview Dr., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • McDonough Post Office, 101 Postmaster Dr., 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Newnan Main Post Office, 60 Postal Way, noon to 3 p.m.
  • Peachtree City Post Office, 151 Hwy. 74 South, noon to 3 p.m.
  • Sharpsburg Post Office, 6545 Ga-54, noon to 3 p.m.
  • Smyrna Post Office, 850 Windy Hill Rd. SE, 9 a.m. to noon.
  • Winder Post Office, 101 N. Broad St., Suite 26, noon to 3 p.m.
  • Winston Post Office, 2929 Post Rd., noon to 3 p.m.

In order to expedite the passport application process, customers are encouraged to complete applications before arriving. Customers should allow 15 minutes per transaction, depending upon the number of applicants in a transaction. All applicants must appear in person (including minors and both parents).

Passport fees are as follows: Adults: Books $110, Cards - $30; Children (under 16): Books - $80, Cards - $15. USPS Fees: $25 execution fee; photos (if needed) - $15.

Identification, including a copy, is required to prove U.S. citizenship, such as:

  • Previously issued, undamaged U.S. passport
  • Certified birth certificate issued by the city, county, or state (long form)
  • Consular report of birth abroad or birth certificate
  • Naturalization certificate

In addition, one current ID is required, such as:

  • Naturalization certificate
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Current government ID (city, state or federal)
  • Current military ID (military and dependents)
