LOUISVILLE, KY — On Monday, Feb.19, 2018, postal retail locations will be closed for the federal holiday.  There will be no collections or mail delivery other than Priority Mail Express.

The Business Mail Entry Units (BMEU) in Louisville and Lexington will be open for business customer mailings on the holiday.  The hours for the Louisville BMEU are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  In Lexington, the BMEU hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

To assist customers:

  • Stamps are available at most grocery, pharmacy, and convenient stores
  • For 24/7 access to most postal products and services, go to www.usps.com - print postage online or find the nearest self-service kiosk

Postal operations will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018.

The Kentuckiana District serves ZIP Codes 400-409, 411-427 in Kentucky and 471, 476-477 in southern Indiana.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
