ROMEO, MI — For the 24th consecutive year, the Romeo, Michigan, and Juliette, Georgia Post Offices will continue their celebrated alliance which offers a unique dual Valentine’s Day pictorial cancellation.
The cancellation highlights a silhouette of sweethearts expressing their love for the holiday. This same unique cancellation will be applied on letters mailed in Juliette, Georgia.
“Each year the Romeo, MI and Juliette, GA Post Offices receive more than 4000 letters requesting the Valentine’s Day cancellation,” says Alex Stubbs, Postmaster, Romeo, MI. “The requests come from more than 200 cities in 36 states. We also have an international demand with requests from Italy, France, Japan, and the U.K.”
To receive this special cancellation, enclose your stamped, addressed cards in a larger envelope, and mail to:

Mail-in requests must be postmarked no later than 30 days following the actual pictorial postmark date.
