MIDLAND, NC — The Midland Post Office is closed temporarily in order to perform necessary repairs to the building.

A mobile Postal unit has been deployed to the Midland Post Office site to offer retail services, beginning Thursday, Dec. 22, until the building reopens. The mobile unit offers cash-only sales until further notice.

Post Office Box customers can still pick up their mail that is already in their PO Boxes, but there will be no additional PO Box delivery until the building reopens. After today, customers can pick up PO Box mail at the mobile unit.

Mail delivery will not be affected. Carriers who deliver from Midland will deliver mail from nearby Stanfield and Locust Post Offices.

Midland Post Office is located at:

13379 Hwy 601
Midland, NC 28107

Hours of operation:

Monday thru Friday

8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday

9 a.m. to noon

“We are still able to offer our customers many of the retail services from the mobile unit and mail delivery will continue as normal,” said Mid-Carolinas District Manager Sandy Wyrick. “We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers.”
