ROCKY MOUNT, NC – U.S. Postal Service Business Development Specialists invites the public to attend “Grow Your Business Day”. This one-day event will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 8 at the Rocky Mount Main Post Office located at 327 E. Raleigh Blvd in Rocky Mount.

The workshop provides information on Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) and is designed to help business owners promote their industry without the cost of mailing lists or permits. EDDM is the first in a series of initiatives to assist business owners in underscoring their product or service through efficient and affordable business mailings.

“We periodically hold these seminars not only to educate, but also to receive feedback from customers to determine the needs of small business owners,” said Business Development Specialist George Humphreys.

The one-hour presentation will feature a detailed presentation on the simple process of selecting a campaign message, target audience and preparation of EDDM mailings.

“We will provide information on how to do it yourself or with the assistance of mailing house vendors,” said Humphreys. “Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the effectiveness of direct mail.”
