On Monday, June 26 at 9:30 a.m., the Tioga, ND Post Office will open for business at its new location, 24 N. Main St. The Post Office phone number will also change to 701-664-6659 on that date.

“The Postal Service prides itself on providing the best possible service for our valued customers in North Dakota,” said Tioga Postmaster Frances Vasquez. “The new Tioga Post Office is yet another example of the Postal Service’s continued commitment to serve customers in the region.”

The new facility is more than double the size of the previous building. The new Post Office has two retail counters, 2,050 PO Boxes and will house two delivery routes. There is also room for future expansion.

“We’re excited to make this announcement,” Vasquez added. “This new Post Office facility will be a great asset to help us meet the needs of our customers, our employees and the community now and long into the future.”

A Grand Opening event will be announced soon. 

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
