BROOKLYN, NY – Customers expecting holiday gifts through the mail can rest a little easier knowing the U.S. Postal Service is opening their doors on Sunday’s at all Brooklyn Post Offices for package pickup services.

To make the holiday season a little more manageable the post office is recommending customers who may have ‘missed’ their Mail Carrier during an attempted package delivery – and instead received a form PS-3849-Reminder Notice “Sorry We Missed You” (Attempted Delivery Notice) – to take advantage of picking up their packages on any Sunday beginning November 22 thru December 20, between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm.

Please note Sunday hours only apply for package pickup service inside the post office lobby at the service door.  Retail counter services remain their usual business days and hours.

Add package pickup to your Sunday regular routine – like picking up fresh baked rolls from the local bakery or those warm buns and hot ‘cup of joe’ from a favorite coffee shop.

Customers wishing to ship packages or letters and purchase stamps with a credit/debit card have access to these Self Service Kiosks – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – all year round:
