WEST UNITY — Earlier this month, an in-depth USPS safety and health investigation of the West Unity Post Office revealed high levels of black mold in the building basement. In accordance with OSHA and USPS regulations, and to safeguard the health and safety of customers and employees, the Postal Service suspended operations at the West Unity Post Office on June 2, 2017.
The issue was addressed and environmental testing confirms that the issue has been abated. Regular operations will resume at the West Unity Post Office on Friday, June 30, 2017.
