Select Portland Area Post Offices to Open on Veterans Day

Portland, OR — For postal customers’ convenience, four Portland metro area Post Office locations and the Salem Main Post Office will offer retail services on the Veterans Day holiday next Monday, Nov. 11, United States Postal Service officials announced today.

Full retail services including package mailing and postage sales will be available on the holiday only at the following locations during the hours indicated:

  • Portland Main Post Office, 715 NW Hoyt St.: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Beaverton Main Post Office, 4550 SW Betts Ave.: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Gresham Post Office, 103 W. Powell Blvd.: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Vancouver, WA, Main Post Office, 2700 Caples Ave.: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Salem Main Post Office, 1050 25th St. SE: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All other Post Office locations will be closed Monday in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. No mail delivery will occur on Monday, with the exception of Express Mail guaranteed for delivery on the holiday.  All USPS locations will be open during their normal retail hours on Tuesday, Nov. 12, and regular mail delivery will also resume on Tuesday.
