PITTSBURGH, PA — Postal Service facilities will be closed for retail transactions on Monday, October 9, in observance of the Columbus Day holiday. There will be no regular mail delivery and limited collection runs will be conducted throughout Pittsburgh and the Western PA District which encompasses PA ZIP Code areas: 150-168 and 260 in West Virginia.
Although, there will not be regular mail delivery on the Columbus Day holiday, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered on October 9. Normal delivery and collection schedules will resume Tuesday, October 10.
For added customer convenience, Self-Service Kiosks (SSKs) are available at the following locations to obtain many postal products and services. All locations, except for the South Erie Branch, feature 24-hour lobby access.

Using a credit or debit card, these self-service kiosks enable customers to conduct business at their convenience. SSKs enable customers to:
- Purchase self-adhesive “Print-On-Demand” stamps.
- Weigh, calculate and purchase postage in amounts for items weighing up to 70lbs.
- Send items via Priority Express Mail, Priority Mail and First Class Mail, as well as by Parcel Post services.
- Look up ZIP Codes and obtain Postal Service mailing information.
- Obtain Priority Express Mail, Certified Mail, and Return Receipts
- Purchase USPS Tracking™ service.
- Obtain a purchase receipt.
- Pay Post Office Box rents.
