Just a quick note to remind you that New Year’s Eve is a regular day at post offices around the island. New Year’s Day, we are closed with regular services resuming on Saturday including retail service and full mail delivery. But the bigger news may be found in this national press release by the Postal Service, issued December 30:
http://about.usps.com/news/national-releases/2015/pr15_069.htm
It reads in part –

Priority Mail: La Cueva del Indio
With this new Priority Mail stamp the Postal Service celebrates Puerto Rico’s many magical and mysterious caves, La Cueva del Indio.
The stamp depicts a sunset view of La Cueva del Indio, or the cave of the Indian, which is located near Arecibo on Puerto Rico’s north coast. The cave gets its name from the great number of engravings, known as petroglyphs, found on the walls. Illustrator Dan Cosgrove worked under the art direction of Greg Breeding.
Here is a high-resolution image link for this stamp which does expire quickly, if you wish to keep it. No dates yet for this stamp but as soon as we know, we will share with you! Thanks.
