Orange City, TX Post office closed, due to flood/mandatory evacuation

(Beaumont) — Customers in Orange, TX will have to pick up their mail in Beaumont, TX tomorrow, due to flooded conditions in the area. Postal officials will suspend retail service and mail delivery for the Orange Post Office, today, March 15, until further notice. 

While customers can pick up their mail with proper identification at the Beaumont Main Post Office, retail and shipping services will also be available, such as Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail and   First through Fourth-Class postage. In addition, customers can also purchase Special Services like Registered and Certified Mail.

As water recedes in the impacted area and conditions improve, both mail delivery and retail services will be restored at the Orange City Post Office.
