FRISCO, TX – The United States Postal Service is committed to providing our customers with excellent service. Due to rapid growth in the Frisco area, it has become necessary to add another ZIP Code to help us efficiently distribute and deliver mail to our customers. We have decided to implement changes to the (75034) ZIP Code in Frisco, TX. The new ZIP Code will allow the Postal Service to maintain its quality of service and provide our customers with mail delivery that is both prompt and accurate.

The new ZIP Code in Frisco (75036) will become effective July 1, 2018, and 9,604 residential and 383 business delivery addresses will be affected by the change. No changes are being made in the 75033 and 75035 ZIP Code areas at this time.

The ZIP Code change will affect the area bordered by Cottonwood Branch and Main Street on the north, Teel Parkway on the east, Boyd Road/Lebanon Road/Lewisville Lake on the south and Lewisville Lake on the west.

The ZIP Code is being divided at Teel Parkway. The addresses in ZIP Code 75034 on the east side of Teel Parkway will remain in ZIP Code 75034. The addresses currently in ZIP Code 75034 on the west side of Teel Parkway will change to the new ZIP Code 75036.

Beginning May 15, postal customers affected by this change will be notified by mail. Customers affected by the new ZIP Code (75036) change are asked to do the following:

  • Utilize the new zip code on all outgoing mail
  • Notify the individuals with whom you regularly correspond with, as soon as possible, (i.e. family, friends, business, etc.)
  • Most mailings have a section where the customer can indicate their corrected or new address; however, “Notification cards for Correspondents and Businesses” will be available at your local Post Office.
  • You can continue to use your existing stationery and mailing supplies; but when you reorder, please use the new ZIP Code.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. We want you to understand that these changes are essential for us to provide you with the kind of outstanding mail delivery you demand. The United States Postal Service will ensure delivery of your mail with the old ZIP Code for a period of one year to allow you to make the transition to your new ZIP Code.

Contact the Frisco Post Office at 972-335-7453 for additional information.
