Residents whose homes are uninhabitable should complete a Change of Address to facilitate delivery of mail to a valid address. A Change of Address can be filed online at www.usps.com or by completing a Change of Address form, available at Post Offices or from a Letter Carrier.
Postal employees throughout the state are working to restore Postal operations as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience our customers may experience. For updated information, customers can check www.usps.com or call 800-ASK-USPS (800-275-8777).
In order to ensure mail delivery to your affected area, please observe the following:
- Be sure no debris blocks the access to your mailbox.
- If your mailbox is badly damaged or destroyed, please provide a secure receptacle, with your address clearly displayed, in order for your letter carrier to leave your mail at your residence. Mail cannot be delivered unless a receptacle is provided.
- If your residence is uninhabitable, please complete a Change of Address card to facilitate the delivery of your mail to a valid temporary address.
- Postal employees are making every effort to provide uninterrupted service to all of our customers in the (Name) ZIP Code delivery area.
