PS Form 6014 Discontinued

Effective immediately, PS Form 6014, Certification of Move Update Compliance, is no longer a valid form. All ref­erences to PS Form 6014 should be removed from Postal Service™ manuals and handbooks. Employees who per­form business mail acceptance should not require or accept PS Form 6014 from any customers.

PS Form 6014 was originally created jointly through a Mailers Technical Advisory Council (MTAC) work group at the request of the industry. The intent of the form was to provide mail verification from clients that Move Update was being conducted, and transfer responsibility to the mail owner. PS Form 6014 was always voluntary.

Since implementation of the new Move Update require­ments in November, we have reevaluated use of the form and determined that accountability for Move Update com­pliance is a provider/client responsibility.
