IMM Revision: Exchange Office Updates for IPA Service and ISAL Service

Effective July 1, 2009, the Postal Service™ is revising Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) Exhibits 292.452 and 293.452 to update numerous exchange office names and destination codes for International Priority Airmail® (IPA™) service and International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) service.

Periodically, the Postal Service receives such requests from foreign posts to facilitate operational needs.

In Exhibit 292.452, we are revising the entries for the following IPA destination countries:

n Algeria.

n Bonaire (removed from list — see the entry for Netherlands Antilles).

n Burma.

n Corsica (removed from list — see the entry for France).

n Curaçao (removed from list — see the entry for Netherlands Antilles).

n Dominica.

n France.

n French Polynesia.

n Indonesia.

n Netherlands Antilles.

n New Zealand (only a change to the footnote number).

n Paraguay.

n Saba (removed from list — see the entry for Netherlands Antilles).

n Saint Eustatius (removed from list — see the entry for Netherlands Antilles).

n Saint Maarten (removed from list — see the entry for Netherlands Antilles).

n Senegal.

n Serbia, Republic of.

n Seychelles.

n Spain.

n Thailand.

n Turkey.

n Vietnam.

In Exhibit 293.452, we are revising the entries for the following ISAL destination countries:

n France.

n Germany.

n Ireland.

n Italy.

n Japan.

n Liechtenstein.

n Netherlands Antilles.

n Papua New Guinea.

n Saudi Arabia.

n Spain.

n Switzerland.
