Correction: Parcel Return Service Fees

In the article, “Field Information Kit: Ground Shipping — PRS” in Postal Bulletin 22268 (9-24-09, pages 3-9), the fees given for permit imprint and account maintenance on page 8 are incorrect.

Q. Are there fees associated with PRS?

A. Participants must pay an annual permit fee of $185.00 and an advance deposit accounting fee of $585.00. The Postal Service requires only a single permit fee, regardless of the number of postal prod­ucts paid by permit or the number of locations from which the merchant or agent retrieves packages.
