In the article “Establishment and Installation Heads: Statutory Requirement to Review and Post OSHA Form 300A Summary for Calendar Year 2009” in Postal Bulletin 22276 (1-14-10, pages 40–41) a note was included that gave incorrect information.
In the section titled “Reviewing and Closing Out the OSHA Form 300 Log”, disregard the following Note after item 5: Note: Installations or establishments with 10 or fewer total employees at anytime during the calendar year are not required to maintain and update an OSHA Form 300 Log.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires all postal installations and establishments to maintain an OSHA 300 Log.
