Effective May 3, 2010, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to reflect current size and weight limits as follows:
n Azerbaijan has reduced the size limits for items sent via Express Mail International® service to a maximum length of 20 inches, and a maximum length and girth combined of 68 inches. (Previously, the maximum length was 36 inches, and the maximum length and girth combined was 79 inches.)
n Canada has revised the size limits for items sent via Priority Mail International® service to a maximum length of 79 inches, and a maximum length and girth combined of 108 inches. (Previously, there was no maximum length dimension, and the maximum length and girth combined was 108 inches.)
n The Republic of Korea (South Korea) has increased the size limits for items sent via Express Mail International service to a maximum length of 60 inches, and a maximum length and girth combined of 108 inches. (Previously, the maximum length was 36 inches, and the maximum length and girth combined was 79 inches.)
n Russia has increased the weight and size limits for items sent via Express Mail International service to a maximum weight limit of 70 pounds, a maximum length of 60 inches, and a maximum length and girth combined of 108 inches. (Previously, the maximum weight was 66 pounds, the maximum length was 36 inches, and the maximum length and girth combined was 79 inches.)
