Express Mail Hold for Pickup for Emergency Orders from Large Mailers

USPS® is pleased to launch a new program designed to get stamps quickly and efficiently into the hands of large mailers. Effective immediately, large volume customers can purchase stamps directly from USPS Stamp Fulfillment Services (SFS) and receive their orders within 1–2 days using Express Mail® delivery service, if it’s an emergency, or within 2–3 days for all orders shipped by Priority Mail®.

Program Details for the Two Service Options:

n Emergency orders are processed within eight hours of receipt and sent using Express Mail Hold for Pickup to the Post Office™ that serves the delivery ZIP Code™ for customer pickup. Express Mail charges are waived, but a standard $1.75 handling fee will apply.

n Standard service orders are processed within 24 business hours of receipt and sent by Priority Mail directly to a customer’s facility. Orders arrive in 2–3 business days, and a standard $1.75 handling fee applies to each order. If a customer requests Express Mail shipment, the actual Express Mail fees will apply.

Customers are required to set up an ACH account or wire transfer money to SFS. The program will be evaluated in 90 days to determine its effectiveness and convenience for customers.
