On February 10, 2014, in Kansas City, Missouri, the Postal Service™ will issue a 70-cent Great Spangled Fritillary Butterfly (two-ounce rate) definitive stamp in one design in a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) pane of 20 stamps (Item 116600) produced by CCL Label, Inc.
The stamp will go on sale nationwide February 10, 2014.
The U.S. Postal Service® celebrates the great spangled fritillary on its fourth butterfly stamp issuance for large greeting card envelopes that require additional postage. Named for the silvery spots on the undersides of its wings, this large butterfly can have a wingspan of up to four inches and is found in all northern states. The stamp art is a colorful, highly stylized depiction of the butterfly. Tom Engeman was the artist. Art director Derry Noyes designed the stamp.

There will be no automatic distribution of these items to Post Offices™. Offices will be notified when these stamps are available to order through eBuy2.
