What Are the Supplier Performance Awards?
For over twenty years the Postal Service’s Supplier Recognition program has celebrated the efforts of suppliers who make outstanding contributions to the success of the Postal Service. The Supplier Performance Awards program recognizes suppliers involved in Supply Chain Management (SCM) whose successes made a difference in helping the Postal Service achieve positive bottom-line savings, increased revenue or performance results, and who have consistently exhibited a collaborative business relationship with the USPS.

The Supplier Performance Awards Program recognizes suppliers for excellence in these six categories:

• Supplier Excellence Awards
• Supplier Innovation Awards
• Supplier Diversity Awards
• Supplier Sustainability Excellence Awards
• Postal Supplier Council Excellence Awards

What are the criteria for each award category?
Award criteria and instructions for each award category are included in the annual SPA Nomination Package. Nominations for each award category are accepted only from postal employees or teams. Aspiring suppliers can, however, request consideration and are encouraged to direct their requests to their postal teams.
