Service Standards Directory files
The Postal Service has filed illustrative labeling lists and service standards with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) — to serve as library references in Docket N2012-1 ("Request of the United States Postal Service for an Advisory Opinion on Changes in the Nature of Postal Services").

There are three file formats:
- Word file labeled "LR.8.PREFACE.doc" provides an outline and introduction to the 13 files contained in this library reference.
- Pdf file labeled "LR.8.PREFACE.pdf" is a pdf version of the Word document.
- ZIP folder labeled "LR.8.ZIP" — Contains 13 files pertaining to the labeling lists and service standards. Double-click any of the 13 files and select "Open." See the screenshot below.
Please note: The degree that service standards and labeling lists may change depends on several factors:
- The outcome of each AMP study.
- The amendments to 39 C.F.R. Part 121 that may result from the market dominant product service standard rulemaking.
- Additional modifications that may result from consideration of the advisory opinion issued at the conclusion of this docket.
Accordingly, the potential changes in USPS Library Reference N2012-1/8 are provided only to illustrate the nature and magnitude of the service standard changes that could result from the network consolidation plan under review.
