Due to impacts from Hurricane Florence, there is a possibility of late or non-deliveries for some residential and business customers in the 295 area.

The following Post Office has suspended operations until further notice:

    • All drop shipments and BME acceptance should be redirected to the Mullins Post Office, 320 N. Main St., 29574.

The following Post Offices have resumed normal operations:

All Post Offices affected by Hurricane Florence have resumed normal operations and normal operational hours.

Mid-Carolinas

Due to impacts from Hurricane Florence, the Fayetteville P&DC is closed until further notice.

Hawaii

All offices on the islands of Maui, Molokai and Lanai are open for normal operations following Tropical Storm Olivia. The Priority Mail Express embargo has been lifted for all impacted ZIP codes.

Pacific islands

All offices in Rota, Guam, and Saipan that were affected by Typhoon Mangkhut have reopened. Normal  operations have resumed.

Mississippi

West Post Office, located at 540 Carrollton Street, 39192, is closed until further notice due to effects from Tropical Storm Gordon. All delivery operations, retail operations, P.O. Box services and drop shipments are available at the Durant Post Office, 15243 S. Jackson Street, 39063. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Alabama

All offices affected by Hurricane Gordon have resumed normal operations.

California

All offices that were closed due to wildfires have reopened.

Florida

Due to approaching Tropical Storm Gordon, retail service is currently closed at the Pensacola Naval Air Station military base located at 210 West Ave. Ste. B, Pensacola FL 32508.

New York

Corinth Post Office, 12822 — This Post Office, located at 97 Main Street, is temporarily closed. The following alternate Post Office should be accessed for retail operations, mail and package pickup, and drop shipments: Lake Luzerne Post Office, 8 School Street, Lake Luzerne NY 12846.

Pond Eddy Post Office, 12770 — Closed until further notice due to structural issues. Customers can pick up their mail or complete retail transactions at the Glen Spey Post Office, 1677 Forestburgh Rd., 12737.

Iowa

Sidney Post Office, 51652 — Closed due to tornado damage. Operations have been moved to the Hamburg Post Office, 308 F St., 51640.

Maine

Ogunquit Post Office, 03907 — Retail operations at this office, located at 172 Main St., are closed until further notice. PO Box customers can pick up their mail at the Wells Post Office, 1886 Post Rd., 04090. Signs at the Ogunquit Post Office will direct retail customers to either Moody Post Office, 243 Post Rd., 04054, or Cape Neddick Post Office, 1268 US Route 1, 03902.

Oregon

Brothers Main PO 97712 – Operations have been suspended due to a facility fire. Please check back for updates.

Rhode Island

Albion Post Office, 02802 — Retail operations have been relocated to the Manville Post Office, located at 30 Railroad St., Ste. 3, 02838. The Albion Post Office is being rebuilt after a fire.
