Service disruption alerts

Hurricane Joaquin

The U.S. Postal Service is experiencing mail service disruptions in South Carolina and small pockets of North Carolina, due to flooding, road closures, strong winds and power outages. Numerous road closures and road failures are making it difficult and in some instances impossible to deliver mail. The Postal Service is taking steps to minimize disruptions as local conditions allow. While delivery and retail service will operate in areas where it remains safe to do so, our primary concern is for the safety of employees and customers. Specific detailed impacts can be found under the “Will I receive mail delivery?” and “Is my Post Office open?” links.
