New Jersey

Oakhurst Post Office, 07755 — Service has been impacted due to water damage from a broken pipe. The office is open for PO Box and delivery service only. Customers may visit Ocean Post Office or Deal Post Office for retail service.  Ocean PO is located at 3305 Fairmont Ave., Ocean, NJ 07712.  Deal PO is located at 92 Norwood Ave., Deal, NJ 07723.

Pennsylvania

Newell Post Office, 15466 — Operations temporarily relocated due to damage from a fire in adjacent building. Customers may visit Fayette City Post Office for service. Fayette City Post Office is located at 121 Johnson Hollow Rd., Fayette City, PA 15438.

Bluff Dale Post Office, 76433 — Closed due to severe structural damage. Customers may visit Tolar Post Office for retail and PO Box service.

The Roanoke Post Office, located at 516 E. Byron Nelson Blvd, Roanoke TX 76262, is currently without power due to a main power pole incident. Retail window services at this unit has been impacted. Please refer to the alternate retail sites for products and services. Updates will be provided as the Post Office become fully operational.

Customers may visit the following offices for retail service:

Keller Post Office (5.3 miles away) – Located at 520 E. Vine Street, Keller TX 76248. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 9:00am-6:30pm, Sat 9:00am-12:00pm, Sun Closed.

Argyle Post Office (8.1 miles away) – Located at 440 Hwy 377 North, Argyle TX 76626. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 9:00am-4:30pm, Closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Puerto Rico

Rincon Post Office, 00677 — Operations have been temporarily suspended due to flooding as a result of a broken pipe. A temporary mobile unit has been set up outside of the Post Office.

Crystal City Station 22215 – All operations have been temporarily suspended due to a malfunctioning heating unit. Operations are expected to resume following all necessary repairs.

Rhode Island

Albion Post Office, 02802 — Retail operations have been relocated to the Manville Post Office, located at 30 Railroad St., Ste. 3, Manville, RI, 02838. Operations were suspended following a fire in the building where the Albion Post Office was located. The fire caused substantial damage and the building is expected to be demolished and rebuilt.

Florida

Hurricane Matthew
The Postal Service remains in recovery phase following impacts from Hurricane Matthew. While most offices have reopened and normal service has resumed, a few offices and operations remain impacted. Please continue to check back for updates.
With the exception of the following offices, delivery and retail operations in Florida have resumed. Please check back for updates.

  • Elkton Post Office, 32033 — Operations have temporarily been relocated to Hastings Post Office, located at 200 Cochran Ave., Hastings, FL, 32145. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and closed Sunday.

Tropical Storm Hermine
The Postal Services remains in recovery phase following impacts from Tropical Storm Hermine. Retail and delivery services continue to be affected in parts of Florida and Georgia.

  • Cedar Key Post Office, 32625 — A mobile unit is now located in the parking lot of the Cedar Key Post Office, located at 512 2nd St., Cedar Kay, 32625. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m..; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and closed Sunday. Services offered are stamp sales, PO Box mail pickup and carrier Left Notice pickup.
  • Suwannee Post Office, 32692 — Flooding from Hurricane Hermine forced the closure of the Suwannee Post Office at 23252 SE Highway 349. A mobile retail unit will be in the Post Office parking lot. Customers may pick up their PO Box mail with proper identification. The mobile retail unit will also sell stamps. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The following offices have resumed all operations:

  • Homosassa Post Office, 34487 — The Homosassa Springs Post Office, located at 4610 S Suncoast Blvd, Homosassa, FL 34446, resumed retail operations on Saturday, Jan. 21. Services were temporarily suspended due to damages sustained from Hurricane Matthew in October.

The Bishopville Post Office Located at 451 N. Main St is closed
Retail services and mail service for the Post Office Box customers will resume tomorrow 1/20/2017 from a mobile unit located on-site.

9:00 am. until 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm until 4:30 pm.

Hurricane Matthew
The Postal Service remains in recovery phase following impacts from Hurricane Matthew. While most offices have reopened and normal service has resumed, a few offices and operations remain impacted. Please continue to check back for updates.
With the exception of one office, normal delivery and retail operations have resumed in the South Carolina ZIP Code three-digit areas of 294, 295 and 299.

  • Nichols Post Office, 29581 — Customers may pick up mail at the Loris Post Office, located at 3085 Broad St., Loris, SC, 29569.

Louisiana

The Postal Service remains in recovery phase following flooding in several cities.

The following office has resumed full operations:

  • Springfield Post Office, 70462

The following office has resumed some operations as described but remains suspended:

  • Denham Springs Post Office, 70726 – Customers no longer need to travel to the Baton Rouge postal facility at 8101 Bluebonnet Rd. to retrieve their mail. PO Box customers can retrieve their mail at a temporary site at the Denham Springs Post Office, located at 140 Del Orleans. Customers who receive a Left Notice slip from the Postal Service can also pick up items at this location. Pickup services are available seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition, retail services are available at the same temporary site, via a mobile retail unit. Customers are able to purchase stamps, postage or other services, in addition to mailing packages or letters. Retail services are offered six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Customers who receive delivery at their homes or businesses are reminded that mail delivery is being made wherever roads are accessible, and if a mailbox is properly placed and available. These customers do not need to pick up their mail at the temporary site.

The following offices have temporarily suspended operations and relocated to alternate sites as noted:

  • Robert Post Office, 70455 – Customers may retrieve their mail at the Hammond Post Office, located at 105 NW Railroad Ave., Hammond, 70401.
  • Springfield Post Office, 70462 – Customers may retrieve their mail at the Ponchatoula Post Office, located at 275 N 5th St., Ponchatoula, 70454.
  • Tangipahoa Post Office, 70465 – Customers may retrieve their mail at the Kentwood Post Office, located at 601 Avenue E, Kentwood, 70444.
  • Greenwell Springs Post Office, 70739 – Customers may retrieve their mail at the Zachary Post Office, located at 6001 Main St., Zachary, 70791.

Customers with proper identification can pick up their mail at the alternate Post Offices. Retail and shipping services will also be available, such as Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail and First-Class through Fourth-Class postage. In addition, special services like Registered Mail and Certified Mail will be available for customers.

As water recedes in the impacted areas and conditions improve, both mail delivery and retail services will be restored at impacted Post Offices.

Tennessee

Gatlinburg Post Office, 37738 — Wildfires have forced evacuations in the area surrounding Gatlinburg Post Office. As a result, retail and delivery operations are temporarily suspended until the mandatory evacuation is lifted. For retail service and to retrieve mail, customers may visit Sevierville Post Office located at 711 Dolly Parton Pkwy, Sevierville, TN, 37862. Please check back for updates.

Blaine Post Office, 37709 — The Post Office was struck by a vehicle, causing possible structural damage. Operations have been temporarily suspended pending inspection to ensure the building is structurally sound. Please check back for updates

Washington

Kent Midway PO 98032 – Operations temporarily suspended due to fire damage. Please check back for updates.

Oregon

Timber Post Office, 97144 — Retail operations have been temporarily suspended. Customers may visit nearby offices for service.

Minnesota

Retail and delivery operations have been impacted as a result of flooding in the upper Midwest region. The following office has been evacuated due to rising flood waters.

  • Saint Clair PO 56080 – Services have been temporarily suspended at the Saint Clair Post Office. For retail and P.O. Box service customers may visit the Janesville PO located, at 101 N Main St, Janesville, MN 56048.

Retail and delivery operations have been impacted as a result of flooding in the upper Midwest region. The following office has been evacuated due to rising flood waters.

  • Gays Mills PO 54631 – Services have been temporarily suspended at the Gays Mills Post Office. For retail and P.O. Box service customers may visit the Gay Mills Mercantile building.

Mississippi

Algoma Post Office, 38820 — Services remain suspended at the Algoma Post Office located at 5 Main St. Updates will be posted as we move to restore operations.

Alternate mailing and shipping site:

Shuqualak Post Office, 39361 — Operations have been temporarily suspended because of water damage caused by torrential rains and flooding. A full-service mobile retail van is located across the street from the Post Office at 134 Pine St. The mobile van will provide all postal services. PO Box customers with proper identification may pick up their mail at the van as well.

Crosby Post Office, 39633 — All operations have resumed following repairs of water damage caused by flood waters. No further updates will be posted.
