Virgin Islands

St. Thomas

Veterans Annex, 00802 — This office, located at 6500 Veterans Dr., will be closed for maintenance on June 15. Customers will not be able to access their PO Boxes due to safety concerns. It will reopen on June 18.

Retail services are available at the following alternate locations:

  • Emancipation Garden, 5064 Norre Gade
  • Charlotte Amalie, 9846 Estate Thomas
  • Havensight, 9007 Havensight Mall Site D


North Weymouth Post Office, 02191 — This office, located at 53 Sea St., will reopen for normal operations on June 15.


Sidney Post Office, 51652 — Closed due to tornado damage. Operations have been moved to the Hamburg Post Office, 308 F St., 51640.

North Carolina

Tryon Post Office, 28782 — Mail delivery has resumed following flooding in the region.

Bat Cave Post Office, 28710 — Retail and PO Box operations (there is no mail delivery at this location) remain suspended following flooding in the region. PO Box mail is available for pickup at the Lake Lure Post Office, 2432 Memorial Highway, 28746.

New Mexico

Ute Park Post Office, 87759 — This office is now open. It was closed for a time due to wildfires in the area.


Ogunquit Post Office, 03907 — Retail operations at this office, located at 172 Main St., are closed until further notice. PO Box customers can pick up their mail at the Wells Post Office, 1886 Post Rd., 04090. Signs at the Ogunquit Post Office will direct retail customers to either Moody Post Office, 243 Post Rd., 04054, or Cape Neddick Post Office, 1268 US Route 1, 03902.


Ellicott City, 21043 — The recent flash flood in Ellicott City has forced the suspension of mail deliveries in some areas due to road closures or flood waters. Mail that can't be delivered can be picked up at the Ellicott City Post Office at 3375 Ellicott Center Dr. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Pahoa Post Office, 96778 ― Operations have resumed with normal business hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Mail delivery continues to be temporarily suspended in the following neighborhoods:

  • Leilani Estates
  • Lanipuna Gardens
  • Pahoa-Kapoho Rd.
  • Papaya Farms
  • Vacationland
  • Kapoho Beach
  • Kapoho-Kalapana Rd.
  • Seaview, Puna Palisades
  • Kehena, Kalapana Shores
  • Uncle Roberts
  • Kalapana-Pahoa Rd.
  • Chain of Craters Rd.
  • Black Sands

Residents of these areas are asked to pick up their mail at the Pahoa Post Office at 15-2859 Pahoa Village Rd.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Post Office ― Closed. Customers of this office can pick up their mail at the Volcano Post Office at 19-4030 Old Volcano Highway.

Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico

All Post Offices in Puerto Rico are open and have resumed normal operations.


Melville Post Office, 71353 — Office is closed due to flooding. All operations have been relocated to Palmetto Post Office located at 214 E. Railroad Ave., Ste. B, 71358. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

New York

Normal operations have resumed at the following Post Offices following power outages:

  • Cleverdale, 12820


Flat Lick PO 40935 – Operations have been temporarily suspended due to building damaged resulting from a car running into the building.


Arcola PO 38722 – Retail and P.O. Box operations have been temporarily suspended. For service, customers may visit Hollandale PO 38748; 121 East Ave S, Hollandale MS, 38748. Hours of operation for Hollandale are as follows:
Mon-Fri 08:00AM-12:00PM, 1:00PM-4:30PM and Sat 08:00AM – 10:00AM


A temporary suspension of the D’Hanis Post Office, located at 7370 County Road 525, D’Hanis, TX 78850, until further notice, pending an assessment of building starting Sat., April 7, 2018.

While the D’Hanis Post Office is under this temporary suspension, alternate retail and P.O. Box services will be provided by the nearby Hondo Post Office, 1108 17th St., Hondo, TX 78961.

D’Hanis P.O. Box customers with ZIP Code 78850 may pick up their mail at the Hondo Post Office during normal business hours, starting Sat., April 7, 2018.

D’Hanis Post Office, 7370 County Road 525, 78850 – alternate Hondo Post Office, 1108 17th St., 78961

Hondo Post Office hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sat., 9 to 11 a.m., and closed Sun.


Brothers Main PO 97712 – Operations have been temporarily suspended due to a facility fire. Please check back for updates.


Houston Post Office, 15342 — Operations temporarily suspended as a result of flooding from heavy rain. Please check back for updates.

Rhode Island

Albion Post Office, 02802 — Retail operations have been relocated to the Manville Post Office, located at 30 Railroad St., Ste. 3, 02838. The Albion Post Office is being rebuilt after a fire.


Rosie, 72571 — Office closed due to fire damage. Retail and PO Box operations have moved to Oil Trough, 209 Main St., 72564-9998. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon, and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Parthenon Post Office 72666 – The office was destroyed by a tornado. All operations have been relocated to Jasper Post Office, located at 412 W Court St., Jasper, AR 72641.
