Background: |
The Louisville Baxter Post Office will close for three consecutive Saturdays on November 10, November 17, and November 24, 2018, for safety upgrades. There will be no retail services available. PO Box customers may pick up their mail at the nearby Cherokee Post Office from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on those days. The Cherokee Post Office is located at 2240 Taylorsville Rd., Suite 1, Louisville 40205. Regular Saturday operations at the Baxter Post Office will resume December 1, 2018. As a convenience, customers can register for Informed Delivery at www.informeddelivery.usps.com to see digital images of their mail before it’s delivered. The Kentuckiana District serves ZIP Codes 400-409, 411-427 in Kentucky and 471, 476-477 in southern Indiana. |
