Ten U.S. Post Office Locations to Offer Special Presidents’ Day Retail Hours for Oregon/SW Washington Customers

Limited holiday hours on Monday, Feb. 20, for customers’ convenience

PORTLAND – The U.S. Postal Service announced it will offer special retail hours at 10 locations in Oregon and Southwest Washington this coming Monday, Feb. 20, to provide assistance to customers wishing to send mail or packages on the Presidents’ Day holiday.

These 10 Post Office
s, including locations in Portland, Vancouver, Beaverton, Gresham, Bend, Pendleton, Salem, Eugene, Medford, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday.

“Even though Monday is a holiday, we understand many of our customers will have packages and other items ready to mail that day,” said USPS Portland District Manger Tyrone Williams, “so we are opening a few select Post Office locations for those customers’ convenience and to ensure those items are shipped promptly.”

Knowledgeable USPS employees will be available at all 10 locations to assist postal customers. Regular retail hours will resume at all Post Office locations on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

A reminder that stamps and packaging supplies are available to order online 24/7 at www.usps.com – where customers can also use their credit or debit card to purchase mailing labels for packages and then arrange for free carrier pickup of those items the next business day.
