Nemo, TX — Following a community meeting and U.S. Postal Service review of all public feedback, the Postal Service has made a final decision to relocate the retail services at the Nemo Post Office from its current location at 4798 FM 200, Nemo,TX. The move became necessary due to safety issues at the Post Office’s current location. 

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as currently provided to our customers at the temporary Rainbow Post Office location and previously at the Nemo Post office. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue to provide temporary services at the Rainbow Post Office, located at 1683 N FM 200, Rainbow, TX 76077, until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office. The Postal Service's goal is to select a new customer service location as close to the current site as possible.  Consideration will be given to sites that are convenient to customers and that will meet all USPS operational needs.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the Nemo, Texas community, the USPS properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives. 

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
