TRONA, CA — The Trona Post Office, 82905 Searles St., Trona, CA 93562, will reopen at noon tomorrow, Saturday, July 20 for Post Office Box mail pickup only.

Full retail operations will resume on Monday, July, 22. Retail hours: 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; closed Saturday and Sunday.

The office was temporarily closed on July 9 due to earthquake damage to the building.

The Postal Service would like to thank Trona residents for their patience while engineers conducted structural and ground analysis in and around the facility.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
