USPS invites Eldridge community to public meeting on plans to relocate Post Office to new location

ELDRIDGE, CA – The U.S. Postal Service will hold a public meeting to discuss plans to relocate retail service from the Eldridge Main Post Office, 15000 Arnold Drive, Eldridge, CA 95431 to a yet-to-be-determined location. The meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Glen Ellen Post Office, 13720 Arnold Drive, Glen Ellen, CA 95442.

The pending relocation is necessary because operations at the Eldridge Post Office were suspended on June 30, 2019, due to closure of the Sonoma development Center/Hospital Building, where the Eldridge Post Office was located.

The Postal Service invites the public to learn more about the proposal from postal officials who will be on hand to discuss all future plans.

Customer input on this proposed relocation is welcome. For 30 days after the public meeting, anyone may submit written comments to the address below for the Postal Service’s consideration prior to its final decision.
