Fort Lauderdale, FL — The U.S. Postal Service will recognize the 2019 Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival with a pictorial postmark.

The pictorial postmark will be available on the parade date --- Saturday, June 15, between 9:30 a.m. and 12 Noon at the U.S. Postal Service’s Oakland Park Branch, 3350 NE 12 Ave, Oakland Park, FL 33305-9997.

The pictorial postmark features the event’s logo for its 20th anniversary this year and for the 50th anniversary of the New York City Stonewall Riots, which became the catalyst for the modern gay rights movement.

The pictorial postmark also will be available via the mail through July 14. Place stamped, addressed envelopes or postcards into a larger envelope and mail to: Pictorial Postmarks, Wilton Manors Station, Postmaster, 1900 West Oakland Park Blvd, Suite 103, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33310-9998.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
