The Royal Oak, MI Fire Department is escorting Santa Claus to the Royal Oak Post Office. Children are invited to share their Holiday wishes while enjoying cocoa and cookies served by Elves. The Royal Oak Children’s Choir will delight visitors with holiday songs. The event is free and open to the public.

Background:

Continuing a long tradition, Santa Claus visits the Royal Oak Post Office to greet children, spread holiday cheer and help customers get all their shipping and mailing needs completed before the busiest time of the year.

“Every child that drops a letter in the special collection box to Santa located at the Royal Oak Post Office, will receive a hand written response,” says Santa Claus. “This is a special time of year and I enjoy helping the Postal Service deliver holiday wishes, letters and packages.”

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
