River Flooding Impacts Mail Delivery

Mail delivery to areas of northwest Washington has been curtailed as a result of flooding over roads due to heavy rainfall in recent days.

U.S. Postal Service letter carriers will attempt mail delivery as long as roads are open and conditions are safe.

Curtailed mail will be held by the USPS until road conditions improve.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
