OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE MEMORANDUM FOR OFFICERS, DISTRICT MANAGERS, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES September 14, 2007 FROM: David C. Williams SUBJECT: Revision of Poster 204, OIG Hotline Poster This memorandum is to notify you that the current Poster 204, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) Hotline poster, issued in June of 2005, has been revised and is now available. New posters will be distributed as follows: two (2) posters will be sent to each small postal facility and four (4) posters will be sent to each large postal facility. These revised posters should be prominently displayed on workroom floor and employee swing room bulletin boards. The September 2007 version of Poster 204 replaces earlier versions and Poster 500, Report Fraud, Waste, Abuse and Misconduct in the Postal Service, dated July 2004. These earlier versions should be immediately destroyed. The OIG Hotline serves as an effective and convenient avenue for employees, contractors, customers, and others to contact the OIG to report employee misconduct or issues that could compromise the efficiency or effectiveness of Postal Service programs and operations. Last year the Hotline received more than 66,000 contacts. Additional copies of Poster 204 can be ordered from the Topeka Material Distribution Center.
