A Good Friend Gets a New Name: RedPlum Replaces ShopWise, Missing Children Program to Continue and Expand

Starting January 1st 2008 SHOPWISE is redplum.

Last March, marketing services company Valassis acquired longtime Postal Service™ customer ADVO, distributor of the popular ShopWise mailer. On January 1, 2008, Valassis retired the ADVO name and re-branded ShopWise as RedPlum.

The in-home date for the first RedPlum mailers is January 3, 2008.

RedPlum will continue to feature the familiar “Have You Seen Me?” photos of missing children on its back cover. Valassis also has announced plans to expand the “America’s Looking for Its Missing Children” program to reach millions more homes across the country in the coming year. To date, the program is responsible for the safe recovery of 147 missing children.
