BDT members helped generate new revenue and retain current customers. They also improved customer satisfaction and strengthened Business Connect and Customer Connect participation, according to Deputy PMG Pat Donahoe.
“More than ever, we need to focus our efforts on building customer loyalty and profitability,” said Donahoe. “I would like to thank the 34 managers who took the lead to prove the BDTs a success. Your efforts have set the stage for our organization as we move forward to meet customer needs in a competitive environment.”
New BDT managers will be appointed in most districts. The Postal Service will also hire additional small business specialists in all districts. Each team will report to its district marketing manager. The full-scale program should be in place by April.
