Handbook F-101 Revision: New Account Identifier Codes for Caller Service Fees

Effective July 17, 2008, two new Account Identifier Codes (AICs) have been established to record payments for caller service fees. Beginning Saturday, August 2, 2008, Post Offices™ and postal retail units will no longer record caller service fees together with Post Office box fees. The fees for 12-month caller service must be recorded into AIC 166, 12-Month Caller Service Fees, and fees for 6-month caller service must be recorded into AIC 167, 6-Month Caller Service Fee.

Post Office box fees will continue to be recorded into AIC 115, 12-Month PO Box Fees, and AIC 158, 6-Month PO Box Fees. Only caller services fees will be recorded into the two newly established AICs.
